Thank you for your very helpful answer. Unfortunately, I had to resign myself to perform an enhancement in the program and use the FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST since I was not sure that creating a conversion routine would have worked in every case.
Thanks anyway and will for sure use your solution in other contexts.
